Sport Relief ‘One More Mile’, Saturday July 10th 2004

Covenham Watersports Centre is hosting the "one more Mile' event in a unique manner. This is an opportunity for people of all ages and abilities to try watersports or enjoy the rural area of Lincolnshire at its best. Sail one mile in a dinghy - whether able bodied or disabled we can give you an opportunity to try dinghy sailing - safely. Paddle a mile - in a canoe or for those who are braver (and don't mind getting wet!) use a kayak. Ski a mile - try waterski-ing or ride a banana! Walk a mile - take a leisurely stroll around the 2 3/4 mile footpath that surrounds the reservoir - view the bird sanctuary. Bring a towel, have some fun and let's hope for the sun!
